The Story of Johtajatulet
What if all the guides and scouts in Finland gathered for a weekend in the forest to talk and learn about leadership from each other?
This idea gave birth to Johtajatulet, first organised in the last weekend of August 2015. Since then, the most important things have remained the same: leadership and the forest, people, encounters, and learning together.
The Story of Johtajatulet
Although the initial idea was primarily to do and lead scouting together, it was soon understood that better leadership is something that belongs to everyone. Nowadays, Johtajatulet brings together people from the business world, politics, and different organisations, regardless of their scouting background. Scouting, however, has not disappeared – the late-summer forest of Evo and the values of building a better world remain unchanged.
Johtajatulet is about learning and understanding new things about leadership but also about enjoying and relaxing together with new and old friends. Alongside high-quality speakers and workshops, Johtajatulet offers experiences that only the forest can provide. Johtajatulet is an event where everyone can come as they are, not out of a sense of duty but from their own desire.

Johtajatulet offers each of us the space and time to learn and understand new things about leadership, making it easier to improve our own world. We provide the late-summer forest of Evo, top-notch speakers, workshops, and various refreshing and enhancing experiences.
